Community Program Update

Please see below for an update on the community programs.
Bloomfield:
Yesterday was the last set of practices for the Bloomfield program
Alberton:
Under 9 girls will have a practice tonight at 6:30 pm at Hernewood
Thursday night will be the final set of games for the Under 9 community league
O’Leary:
Thursday night will be the final set of games for the Under 9 community league
Ellerslie:
Thursday night will be the final set of games for the Under 9 community league
Tignish:
Under 7 boys & girls will train on Wednesday, August 21 at 12:00 pm (at Elementary school)
Under 9 boys & girls will train on Wednesday, August 21 at 12:00 pm (at Elementary school)
Extra items of importance for everyone:
Under 5 Hernewood - the final training session for Under 5 will be tonight from 5-5:30 pm at Hernewood
Under 7 extra training sessions - the final extra training session for Under 7 will be tonight at Hernewood from 5:45-6:30 pm
Under 7 jamborees - we have struggled to get the jamborees in place and every time we did it seemed like the weather had different intentions for us or schedules just didn’t work out. I don’t think we will be having any further jamborees at this point.
Under 9 league schedule - please see below for the schedule for under 9 community games for Thursday, August 21
Boys: (Field 1)
5:30 pm - Ellerslie 1 vs. Tignish 2
6:30 pm - Tignish 1 vs. O’Leary 2
7:30 pm - Ellerslie 2 vs. Alberton
Girls: (Field 2)
5:30 pm - Alberton vs. Tignish 2
6:30 pm - Ellerslie vs. O’Leary 2
7:30 pm - O’Leary 1 vs. Tignish 1
CLUB WRAP UP FOR ALL GROUPS:
We would like to do a little wrap up for everyone next week but we will need some help from parents in order to do so. We are wondering if we might be able to get a couple of parents to bring out barbecues for an evening and we would purchase some hot dogs and some freezies for the group to wrap up the year. We were looking to have this event on Thursday, August 28 from 5:30 to 7 pm at the clubhouse. If you would be able to bring out a barbecue please email Brian at brian@millriver.ca by Sunday, August 24 and if we have a couple of barbecues available then we will go ahead with the wrap up.
