COMPETITIVE TEAMS:
*** Under 9 travel teams:
The Under 9 travel teams had another successful tournament in Cornwall this past weekend. We hope that the players and parents enjoyed this program as it is now wrapped up for the season and players will finish off their community games to end the year over the next couple of weeks.
Schedule for this week (there may be some more practices added to the schedule, please check back to this story on a daily basis to see if anything has changed and check with your coach to see if they have a practice going or not this week):
Tuesday, August 12
Under 18 girls premier have a bye tonight and will play a semi-final game on Friday evening.
Under 11 girls, Under 13 girls, Under 13 boys sessions with Graeme MacDonald from PEI soccer are canceled for tonight.
Wednesday, August 13
*** We are going to offer another goalkeeper session at Hernewood from 5:00 to 6:00 pm
5:00 to 5:30 pm will be for any goalkeepers in the Under 9 and Under 11 age groups
5:30 to 6:00 pm will be for any goalkeepers in the Under 13 and Under 18 age groups
Under 18 girls first division team will play at Hernewood at 6 pm vs. Sherwood in a quarter final game
Senior men division 2 team will play at the Terry Fox Complex in Cornwall at 7:30 pm vs. Klutch FC in a semi-final (if they win they play Sunday the 17th in a gold medal game)
Thursday, August 14
Under 13 boys first division team will play at Hernewood at 5:45 vs. Winsloe white in a quarter final game
Under 13 girls first division team will play at Hernewood at 7 pm vs. Winsloe in a quarter final game
Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17
Under 18 girls premier team will play at Hernewood at 6 pm in a quarter final match - opponent to be determined
Under 11 Girls division 3 will be at the Sherwood tournament - the first two games are Friday at 2:45 pm vs. RC United Cornwall #2 and Saturday at 9:45 am vs. Sherwood #2
Under 11 Girls division 2 will also be at the Sherwood tournament - the first two games are Friday at 4:15 PM vs. Eastern Eagles and Saturday at 11:15 am vs. Winsloe White
Under 11 Boys division 3 will also be at the Sherwood tournament - the first two games are Friday at 2:45 pm vs. Winsloe Blue and Saturday at 10:00 am vs. Sherwood #3
Under 11 Boys division 2 may or may not have a game depending on whether PEI Soccer can arrange something.
Sunday, August 17
Senior men division 2 will play at Terry Fox Turf field in Cornwall at 4:30 pm vs. RC United in a playoff game
*** Both of our Senior women's teams will be playing in a gold medal game next Monday, August 18 - locations and times to be determined ***
