Hi everyone,
We just wanted to give everyone an update as June comes to a close
Please see below for the competitive team schedule for this upcoming week as well as an update on the community program.

COMMUNITY UPDATE:
We are going to be posting several stories on our website this week and will send out an email each time we do so to let everyone know to go and take a look.
The first update will be posted either tomorrow or Tuesday at the very latest and it will include everything for the Under 9 community program. Right now the plan is as follows:
The girls league will consist of teams from Alberton, Tignish (2 teams), O’Leary (2 teams) and Ellerslie. The boys league will consist of teams from Alberton, Tignish (2 teams), O’Leary and Ellerslie (2 teams).
We NEED a coach for the O’Leary under 9 boys, I believe all other teams will have a coach in place. When the post goes on the website it will have the team lists as well as the schedule for the full summer. The league will start on Thursday, July 3 so everyone should be prepared to play on Thursday night at either 5:30 or 6:30 or 7:30 pm.
As well, we will be posting individual stories for the Under 7 community program - we had hoped to get going last week but it just didn’t happen. With that being the case we are going to change the dates of the jamborees for the summer. We are also looking into offering an open night where players from all communities can come out to Hernewood to get some extra training.
Finally, we will post a story on the under 5 programs for Bloomfield and Hernewood with the lists of players taking part and we will post a story on the community under 11 and let everyone know if there is anything that can be put together there going forward.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS:
*** I am still waiting to hear from Karch as to when their under 11 boys division 2 team will practice this week, will update as soon as I get the information
Under 9 travel teams:
The Under 9 travel teams have been registered for the Stratford tournament which will take place on July 12 with a rain date of the 13. Please email me at allainbrian@hotmail.com and let me know if you are able to attend on that weekend. Once we know the confirmed players we will decide on the rosters for the girls two teams and we will be able to let everyone know what their registration fee will be as it was $150 a team to enter the tournament. I am working on trying to figure out something for uniforms as my representative with Campea that we normally deal with has gone silent on me

Monday, June 30
Senior women division 2 will play at Hunter River Complex at 7 pm vs. CQ FC
Senior women division 3 will play at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex at 7 pm vs. Souris
Under 9 travel teams will train at 5:15 pm at Hernewood (boys & girls - please go to main soccer field)
Under 11 division 2 & 3 girls teams will train at 6 pm at Hernewood (please go to main soccer field)
Under 13 girls first division team will train at 7 pm at Hernewood (please go to main soccer field)
Tuesday, July 1
There will be no soccer on this day as it is Canada Day
Wednesday, July 2
Under 18 girls first division team will play at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex at 6:30 pm vs. Souris
Under 13 boys first division team will practice at Hernewood from 5:30 to 6:30 pm (please go to the Under 13 field)
Under 11 boys division 3 team will practice at Hernewood from 6:30 to 7:30 pm (please go to the under 11 field)
Thursday, July 3
Under 13 girls first division team will host Winsloe at Hernewood at 6:30 pm
Under 13 boys first division team will play at 6:30 pm at the Hunter River Complex vs. RC United
Friday, July 4
Under 11 boys division 2 will play at Queen Elizabeth Elementary at 7:20 pm vs. Kensington
Saturday, July 5
Under 11 boys division 3 will play at SIS #2 field at 10:30 am vs. Summerside #1
Under 11 girls division 2 will play at Hernewood at 9:15 am vs. Summerside #2
Under 11 girls division 3 will play at Hernewood at 10:30 am vs. Summerside #2
Sunday, July 6
Senior men division 2 team will plat at Hernewood at 4 pm vs. Supreme FC
